Outreach to Corona School, Gbagada, Lagos

At Corona School, Gbagada, the Dear Daughter of Mine Collective spent time with the girls talking about identity, confidence, and seeing themselves the way God sees them. We shared food items with the students and donated a supply of bathroom and hygiene essentials to support the school’s efforts to care for the girls’ daily sanitation and wellbeing. This visit was a gentle, practical reminder that they are seen, loved, and worth investing in.

Outreach to Louisville Girls High School, Ijebu-Itele, Nigeria

At Louisville Girls High School, we had the privilege of speaking to over 500 girls about purpose, resilience, and walking with God in every season of life. Alongside our time of conversation and encouragement, we shared food items with the students and donated a supply of sanitary towels to support their menstrual health and dignity. This outreach deepened our commitment to creating spaces where girls are equipped, affirmed, and empowered to thrive.

Testimonials

"Thanks so much for all your prayers, for your advice when you came to visit us earlier this year. I made it. I graduated as the Louizan of my set, also the most approachable, the most outstanding assistant head girl!"

"I've learned that I am much more than the identity labels people place on me and that it is so important to put god first in everything. The talk on self identity was lively and beautiful."

At DDOM’s outreach event, I could tell the message really reached the girls, hearing that they are wonderfully and fearfully made, and that they are more than the labels people put on them, seemed to truly speak to their hearts. It was beautiful to witness, and it encouraged me too.
